Cris joined Music Haven in 2008, when he was in elementary school, and has since excelled as an exceptional musician and educator. From his early days in our program to performing in House Concerts—where he left such a lasting impression that the host gifted him a violin upon high school graduation—Cris has always had a deep passion for music. He majored in Music at the University of Connecticut and now teaches at Cold Spring School in New Haven as an Associate Teacher. During the summer, Cris teaches young musicians at Yale School of Music’s Morse Summer Music Academy and the St. Luke’s Steel Band Camp. Cris also remains closely tied to Music Haven, serving as a substitute teacher and performer with the Haven String Quartet.
